Bento Box:

1. Osaka offers a convenient jump-off point to Kyoto (1 day trip, JR Line and other lines depending on where you want to go) and Nara (1 day trip, Kintetsu Line). From Shin-Osaka Station or Osaka Station where you can take the regular (30 minutes) or bullet trains (15 minutes) depending on your budget.

2. There's a Tourist Information Center in both Kyoto Station and Nara Station.

3. Our one day Kyoto trip covered Kinkakuji, Ginkakuji, Kiyomuzudera and Fishimi Inarii-Taisha.

4, The Nara Trip covered Nara Park, Todaiji Temple, Nara National Museum and neighboring grounds.

5. Other ideas.
