May it confound, bruise and bless you.
May it embrace your shadow as you walk.
May it shelter you as days fold into nights.
May it be
a trail to lead to joyful inns;
a ribbon to charm your signposts;
a color to tint the gray lands;
a lantern to keep the stars envious;
a stitch to bind any wound;
a foe to keep your blood fierce; and,
a fellow to keep the tales going.
May the road end where you began---
In a home longing for you, your gifts and your tales.
